Tottenham youngster Matthew Craig was spotted in training at Hotspur Way on Monday, ahead of their crucial match against Marseille on Tuesday night.

With the group wide open, Tottenham needs at least a point to qualify for the knockout stages. They will face a strong French side that includes several former Arsenal players including Kolasinac, Alexis Sanchez, Nuno Tavares, and Matteo Guendouzi, which could provide extra motivation against Spurs.

And camera spotted young Spurs midfielder Matthew Craig training with the first team in preparation for the big Champions League game. The 19-year-old Scotland U19 international has been a regular in the second string. This season, he has even captained Tottenham’s Under-19 team in the UEFA Youth League.

Antonio Conte who saw a red card at the end of a controversial game last time out will be in the stands for the crunch clash with assistant Cristian Stiellini set to take charge of the game.

Spurs have a plethora of options behind the starting two. Oliver Skipp, Yves Bissouma, and even Harvey White would almost certainly be selected ahead of Craig. However, the young Spurs star will benefit from being in senior training. He is expected to at least make it to the bench with the clubs allowed to have 12 players on their bench in the Champions League.
