A supercomputer has predicted how the Premier League table will look like at the end of the season.

The Sun reports that Betsie, the supercomputer, has simulated the season 100,000 times to produce the results.

The comprehensive data included match results from last season, as well as the pre-season and the current season.

Using the data, it has predicted that Tottenham will finish 6th in the table, behind Aston Villa and Newcastle.

The surprise prediction comes despite Spurs’ brilliant start to the season which saw them go unbeaten for 10 games. It was only after their injury crisis did their form drop which resulted in a 5 game winless streak.

But they got back to winning ways against Newcastle and did so in style beating them 4-1, as they remain 5th but just three points behind Manchester City.

The computer predicted Arsenal to win the league, City to finish second followed by Liverpool and Aston Villa.
