Superagent reveals European giants are ‘preparing big play’ to sign Spurs star

By Mehdi Gokal -

British agent Haydn Dodge has claimed that Bayern Munich are ‘preparing to make a big play’ to sign Harry Kane.

In his exclusive column for Caughtoffside, he claimed that Bayern Munich are still interested in replacing Lewandowski with the England striker and that the Bundesliga club will be plotting a big move to prise him away from Spurs.

The 29-year-old has just two years left on his current contract and has yet to agree to a new deal with Spurs, with reports claiming that the striker is ‘closely monitoring‘ Antonio Conte’s situation and will reportedly only sign a new contract if Conte stays at the club as well.

He’s at a point in his career where he’s desperate for some silverware. Last season, he attempted to force a move to Manchester City, but it did not happen. With City signing Erling Haaland in the summer, his next option, if he wants to move, will be Bayern Munich, who are extremely keen on signing him.

The Bundesliga club lost Lewandowski to Barcelona in the summer and have been linked with a move for Kane ever since, with both CEO Oliver Kahn and manager Julian Nagelsmann publicly stating their desire for Kane earlier in the summer transfer window.

Harry Kane is one of the best strikers in the world boasting an incredible 260 goals and 62 assists for Spurs in all competitions.

According to Dodge, the German club have already started laying the groundwork to make a big move for Kane. He wrote:

“I know some fans will argue and say ‘well, what about Harry Kane? – He’s Spurs’ best player’ – Yes, of course, Kane is up there. We all know he’s a top-class player but Bayern Munich are preparing to make a big play to sign him.”

Kane will leave regardless of who’s manager, and it won’t be Conte anyway…
