Spurs want 40m Bundesliga star, but face competition from some of Europes elite teams

Tottenham has been linked with a move for Borussia Monchengladbach man, Florian Neuhaus.

The 23-year-old has emerged as one of the most important players in the German side this season, and several top European teams are looking to sign him.

Sport1 says he has attracted the attention of two of Germany’s biggest teams as well.

Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund have been monitoring his progress, and they are looking to add him to their ranks.

BVB has the strongest interest, but they would struggle to pay his release clause if they don’t secure a return to the Champions League at the end of this season.

The midfielder’s release clause is currently valued at 40m euros, a fee that shouldn’t be a problem for his level of performance.

Tottenham has one of the best midfield pairings in the Premier League this season, but they will need to strengthen their squad again in the next few transfer windows.

Neuhaus might be the player that brings even more to their squad.

Jose Mourinho’s men aren’t the only team outside of Germany that wants to land him as the report claims that Real Madrid is also paying attention to his career development.
