Spurs target misses another game, maybe he will make the move across London

Tottenham have been linked with a move for Chelsea defender, Antonio Rudiger as they continue to be active in this transfer window (SkySports).

The Lilywhites have had a busy summer transfer window, but they still want to sign a striker and a defender.

Milan Skriniar has been their top defender target in this transfer window, but it seems that they might miss out on the Inter Milan centre back.

Rudiger has lost his place in the Chelsea starting XI this season and it seems that the former Roma man might be leaving Stamford Bridge.

He has emerged as an alternative target to Spurs and Frank Lampard’s latest action might be pushing him closer to a move to Spurs.

The Blues faced Spurs in the Carabao Cup last night and that game presented the former Chelsea midfielder with the chance to change his team and bring in some players who haven’t had so much playing time.

The Englishman still omitted Rudiger from his line up. The German didn’t start the game neither was he named on the bench in a game that the Blues would eventually lose on penalties to Jose Mourinho’s side.

Spurs want him on loan for the rest of the season and it will be interesting to see how that works out now.
