Spurs set to price teams out of signing Kane in the summer and he won’t join a rival

Tottenham is set to keep hold of Harry Kane for another campaign, even though the Englishman has been tipped to join a team that wins regular trophies.

Kane has remained loyal to Spurs despite being one of the best strikers in the world.

But the England captain risks ending his career with little or no trophies to show for his goal-scoring exploits.

Reports have linked top European and English teams with a move for him and he may have a better chance of winning silverware with some of them.

However, Spurs will not let him go easily, according to Sun Sports who claim that the chances of him joining a rival is almost non-existent.

Manchester City and Manchester United have targeted him and they might make a move for him in the summer, but this development rules out a transfer to either side.

He is also being targeted by top European teams like Barcelona, Real Madrid and PSG.

But the report says Spurs will want £175m to sell him to any team outside England and that fee would be a lot to put up for any European side considering how the coronavirus pandemic has affected them all.

Spurs are currently in the final of the Carabao Cup and winning that competition will help Kane earn a trophy for the club before he leaves, if he leaves.
