Tottenham Hotspur are set to be involved in another transfer battle with Barcelona this summer.
Spurs and Barcelona were previously embroiled in a battle for Lucas Bergvall during the winter transfer window.
However, Bergvall ultimately opted to join Tottenham, signing a five-year deal reportedly worth €10 million.
Bergvall will remain with Djurgardens IF until the end of the season before making the move to North London in July.
Now, attention has turned to Bardghji, another promising Swedish prospect who has caught the eye of both Tottenham and Barcelona.
According to the infamous Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, speaking to FotbollDirekt, the Catalan-based club is keen on acquiring Roony Bardghji, especially after missing out on Bergvall
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano previously revealed that the right-winger is not willing to extend his contract with FC Copenhagen, as his current agreement expires at the end of next year.
This reluctance to commit long-term has led to Bardghji seeing reduced playing time at Copenhagen, further fueling speculation about his future.
Roony Bardghji was linked with Spurs in the summer as well with reports claiming that Spurs registered interest in him at the ‘explicit request of Ange Postecoglou’.
It appears so that the club will reignite their pursuit for the highly-rated youngster in the summer, and will go head to head with Barcelona once again.
