Spurs man playfully reveals his new ‘secret weapon’

By The Boy -

Tottenham’s improving luck has been in part thanks to the steady form of players like Dejan Kulusevski.

Against an awkward Nottingham Forest side, the Swede managed to chip in with another goal, another assist, and yet more shot assists, three on this occasion. As attacking players go, Kulu is always in the thick of it.

To give and provide an indication of the level the Tottenham boy is at, when it comes to assists, only Salah, De Bruyne, Saka, and Maddison have provided more.

The 23-year-old jokingly provided a clue to his most recent good form, suggesting that he had been gifted superhero powers by his protective mask, telling The Sun that he was pushing a secret button on the mask.

“It feels good – it gives me a little more power. I like it. I push the secret button on the mask and off we go.

“I’ve not worn it before. I’ve just broken my nose and this is what I have to do to protect it. The doctor says to keep it for one month – we will see.”

With the January transfer window, fast approaching, Daniel Levy would do well to ensure that the good work of players like Kulu are not undone by a lack of squad depth. A goalkeeper, a centre-back, and arguably another attacking player are required.

Fraser Forster looked frankly poor last time out against Fulham, and whilst Oliver Skipp is undoubtedly a nice kid, he’s not a particularly gifted footballer.
