Spurs Making Room For Lastest Signing?

Tottenham Hotspur defender Japhet Tanganga has been linked with a move away from the London club this summer.

According to a report from Daily Mail, the highly talented young centre-back could be sent out on loan this summer in order to gain valuable first-team experience.

Tottenham are close to completing the signing of Clement Lenglet from Barcelona on a loan deal and the 27-year-old Frenchman is expected to be ahead of Tanganga in the pecking order next season.

The youngster needs to play more regularly in order to continue his development, and sitting on the bench at Spurs might not be ideal for him next season.

According to the report from Mail, the likes of Bournemouth and Milan are keen on securing his services.

Tanganga has played in the Premier League with Tottenham, and he has shown that he has the quality to succeed at this level. The youngster produced an impressive performance against Liverpool on his Premier League debut a couple of seasons ago and the likes of José Mourinho and Jürgen Klopp lavished praise on the centre-back.

Klopp labelled his performance as ‘very impressive’, while Mourinho dubbed it an ‘amazing’ performance.

It is evident that he has the potential to develop into a reliable Premier League centre-back with proper coaching and game time. A move to Milan could be ideal for the youngster’s development next season.

The Italian giants could certainly use some depth at the back and the Spurs player could join up with the former Chelsea defender Fikayo Tomori in Italy.

Milan will be able to provide him with Champions League football as well and that could be an excellent learning curve for the 23-year-old. Furthermore, Tanganga is versatile enough to play as a right-back and that could only open up more first-team opportunities for him.
