According to journalist Ben Jacobs, Tottenham will prefer to sell right-back Djed Spence this summer.
Leeds have already signed Joe Rodon on loan from Tottenham this summer and are now keen on signing Spence.
Jacobs states that the Yorkshire club have a ‘concrete interest’ in signing him on loan before the transfer window shuts but Spurs are keen on a permanent move.
Jacobs told GIVEMESPORT:
“With Spence, I think that there is concrete interest in a loan, but Tottenham would prefer a permanent sale.
“Not that many suitors are at the table for Spence at the moment so, as the window ticks on, Championship clubs might be able to persuade Spence to drop down simply because his options are limited at Tottenham.
“I’m also told that Swansea and Bristol City are two other clubs that have at least considered a loan move, but let’s see what the position is of Spurs because they would ultimately like to sell if they possibly could. It will, therefore, just depend on if anyone meets that valuation.”
Leeds United are not the only club interested in signing him on loan. Bristol City and Swansea City are also interested.
Other clubs interested who have registered an interest in him include Championship sides Bristol City and Swansea City.
Spence joined Tottenham at the start of the last season for a fee of around £20m but has not been allowed enough playing time to showcase his abilities.
He further fell down the pecking order after the signing of Pedro Porro in January who is a first team starter for Ange as well.
