Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a move for the Torino defender Perr Schuurs.
The 23-year-old is highly rated in the Netherlands and he has made an impressive impact since joining the Italian club last summer.
The defender is considered as ‘one of the best ball-playing defenders’ in the Netherlands and he has been likened to the Liverpool star Virgil van Dijk because of his defensive quality and ball distribution skills.
Tottenham have ‘come forward’ to sign the player and they could be willing to present an offer for him soon as per Orazio Accomando.
Apparently, the defender is a target for Crystal Palace as well but a club with Tottenham’s resources and pull should be able to beat the Eagles to his signature.

Schuurs would not only help Tottenham tighten up defensively, but his distribution skills will also help them build from the back.
The 23-year-old is highly rated around Europe and he has a big future ahead of him. He could prove to be a solid, long-term acquisition for Tottenham if they can agree on a fee with Torino.
It remains to be seen whether Tottenham follow up on their interest with a concrete proposal in the next few days.
