Spurs could seal a return of their former midfielder

Spurs have been tipped to make a move for Christian Eriksen as the Dane continues to struggle at Inter Milan.

The midfielder only left Tottenham in the January transfer window after he decided against renewing his contract that was expiring at the time.

Spurs were keen to keep hold of him, but he had already made up his mind to move to another team.

His move to Inter now looks very much a mismatch and Calciomercato is tipping him to make a return to Spurs.

The report claims that Eriksen’s time in Inter hasn’t been what the club expected when they made their move for him in January and his future has often come up at press conferences.

It says that Antonio Conte hasn’t been convincing when he has responded to questions regarding Eriksen.

It then adds that the next transfer window opens the door for him to make a move away from the club.

It claims that PSG might return for him, but there is also the possibility of a return to Spurs.

While money might be used to sign him, an exchange involving Danny Rose and Dele Alli is also a possibility, the report adds.
