Tottenham has been named as the fifth best English team of the last decade, a position that places them above Liverpool.
Spurs haven’t won a trophy since 2008 and have been fighting to end that drought.
There have been narrow misses though, with the club reaching the final of the Champions League in 2019.
They lost that showpiece to Liverpool, but they have remained one of the biggest teams in England.
They failed to play Champions League football in this campaign, but they have reached the final of the Carabao Cup where they will face Manchester City.
City are the favourites, but reaching that final is a step in the right direction and similar steps have made The International Federation of Football History & Statistics via Sun Sports rank them as the 5th best team in England since 2011.
Despite the dominance of Manchester City in recent seasons, Chelsea came first on the list, with the Citizens earning the second spot.
Manchester United and Arsenal came third and fourth, but Spurs beat Liverpool in the rankings.
Jurgen Klopp’s men ended their wait for a league title by winning the competition last season.
They also reached the final of the Champions League in 2018 and won the competition after beating Spurs the next year.

There’s nothing wrong with liking the stadium.. It’s the debt that’s worrying.. To put things in to perspective, ever since the stadium was being built Baldy has been upping the wages. Keeping the likes of Kane and giving big wages to the likes of Ndom… We are now 5th in net wages and above Liverpool.. This is improvement and showing ambition in my opinion, I would just rather so much wasn’t wasted… Ndom, Bale, LoCelso, Rose, the list goes on…

Scouting and acadamy needs sorting right out… Better coaches and scouts for the youth.. I’m a strong believer of youth, spotting talent young and training them properly physically and mentally, preparing them to become warriors.. Benficas acadamy is a great example… It was also the first thing Sir Alex sorted out at Manure. He goes into details in his Harverd speech. And that acadamy produced the class of 92.. Levy claimed he was going to similar nearly two decades ago, but our acadamy is still poor.. Kane being the only decent graduate in 20 odd years is horrendous.

John McGinns overhead kick last night was really something. Should av signed him 2 years ago. The Austrian lad Sasa Kaljadcik looks worth a go too. Perfect CF cover and developing into a starter in couple years if Kane goes.
