Spurs already know who they will sign with Aurier transfer fee

Spurs have been linked with a move for Brighton full-back Tariq Lamptey after his fine performances for the Seagulls.

The Chelsea youth product proved to be one of the finest right-backs in the Premier League last season.

His campaign was cut short by an injury in December, but he had shown enough quality to have admirers around Europe.

The England Under 21 international is now considered the ideal replacement for Serge Aurier, according to the Daily Mail.

The report says Spurs expects to sell Aurier this summer as the Ivorian looks to have no future in north London.

He is expected to make a return to PSG where he would be reunited with Mauricio Pochettino.

Spurs signed Matt Doherty from Wolves last summer and he had been expected to play ahead of Aurier.

However, the Republic of Ireland International was in poor form and Aurier played more matches than expected.

It remains unclear if Doherty will do better under Tottenham’s next manager, but the club is looking to bolster their squad to give their next boss a good platform to work with.

Lamptey has a long-term contract at Brighton and the Seagulls will look for around £50 million to sell him.
