Source: Levy Cold As Ice Towards News Kane Has Agreed To Personal Terms With City

A source close to the club understands that the Harry Kane situation has now officially drifted into a complete stand-off and that after attempts to construct a dialogue with the club with his agent, brother Charlie Kane has failed, Harry Kane himself is now seeking to get the message through to Tottenham’s board, he no longer wishes to waste his time as a professional footballer at a club that cannot position him well enough in order to win meaningful medals.

The understanding is that Charlie has done noting particularly amiss as an agent, rather THFC has not been vaguely amenable to discussions. Given that, after the severe downward spiral that the club has embarked upon, beginning talks for the sale of Harry Kane would effectively slam the last cherry on the guano cake. An admission is you will, that CEO Daniel Levy has, thus far, watched Spurs’ dreams fall off a cliff.

In the interim, there has been increasing frustration with both Manchester City and the Jane camp with the intransigence at Tottenham, who now look to be determined to make Kane’s desired exit a totally different scenario to that of Michael Carrick, Dimitar Berbatov, Luka Modrić and Gareth Bale, despite Harry having some time since agreed personal terms with the Champions.

Berbatov was sold to a Premier League rival, and so it is risible to cite the destination as problematic.

Can Kane be convinced to knuckle down? This is now very much a one one one fight. I take a view that only a very brave man would underestimate a player that forged his own success, single-handedly.
