Son’s form is giving naysayers a hard time and they think he won’t sustain it

Son Heung-min is in the form of his life and it is hard for naysayers to believe that the South Korean will keep it up.

The attacker has already scored 13 goals in 17 games in the Premier League and the Europa League this season.

His numbers are so far up this season compared to the previous campaigns, and after having a look at his stats, Spurs have been warned on Sun Sports to enjoy it while it lasts because it certainly won’t last forever.

He has formed a deadly strike partnership with Harry Kane this season, and they look set to help Tottenham win a trophy by the end of the campaign, but just how unbelievable is Son’s form?

The South Korean has 10 league goals from just 13 shots on target this season. He is also averaging just 2.1 shots per 90 minutes, this is less than he had last season (2.9), and the campaign before (2.7).

The report also says that he is “massively overperforming against his xG” because he has scored 10 times from efforts that he should have scored just 3.5 goals from.

Son’s previous best season (2016/17) saw him score 21 goals in all competitions, but he looks likely to beat that in this campaign, but the naysayers are warning Spurs not to get carried away.
