Son Heung-min’s friendly gesture to £15m transfer target sparks excitement among some Spurs fans

Son Heung-min got Tottenham fans off their seats on Wednesday night with a headed winner against Norwich City… and that was not the only thing he did to get the Spurs community excited.

After sealing three points which closed the gap to fourth-placed Chelsea to just six, Sonny was seen sharing a hug and a smiley word with Norwich starlet Max Aarons.

Son is a friendly chap, so it would perhaps be wise not to read too much into such a moment.

But such is our desperate need for a new right-back, many Spurs fans couldn’t stop themselves adding 2+2 and getting a big wet 5.

The Spurs Web fuelled the Twitter fun by posting a video of Son’s brief cuddle with Aarons, along with the caption: “Agent Sonny…”

And the replies rolled in:

Aarons is a fine footballer and one of the few players likely to continue playing Premier League football after Norwich’s almost inevitable relegation back to the Championship.

And it was claimed in The Sun earlier this month that Aarons was on Jose Mourinho’s wish-list, with Daniel Levy said to be happy to splash £15m on either him or fellow youngster Nathan Ferguson.
