“So let’s see what happens” Club chief goes on the record in respect of 2023 target

Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane was linked with a move away from the London club last summer with Manchester City reported as potential admirers.

Bayern Munich CEO Oliver Kahn has now fuelled further speculations surrounding the England international’s future at the Premier League club by claiming that he would be a dream signing for the German side.

He said: “He is under contract at Tottenham. Sure, an absolute top striker, but that’s all a dream of the future. So let’s see what happens”.

The 28-year-old has been exceptional for Tottenham since breaking into the first team scene and he has scored 248 goals across 386 appearances in all competitions.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano claims that the England international striker is considered an untouchable asset by the Tottenham board and they are not willing to sell him at any cost.

The update from Romano will certainly come as a relief for Tottenham fans who will be hoping that the England international can stay at the London club until the end of his career.

The Londoners have certainly shown a lot of improvement since the arrival of Antonio Conte and they will be hoping to end their wait for a trophy in the upcoming season.

There is no doubt that Spurs have a talented squad at their disposal but they must hold on to key players like Kane in order to challenge for major trophies in the coming seasons.
