Sky Sports Michael Bridge provides an update on Spurs target Dušan Vlahović

Tottenham Hotspur wants to improve their forward group to lessen their goal-scoring dependency on Harry Kane. In 17 Premier League matches, Kane has only scored four goals; furthermore, Spurs are in the bottom six for goals scored with 23.

As a result, a forward is on their list of targets to pursue this January transfer window, but one possible player that Tottenham has had their eye on won’t be available.

Sky Sports Michael Bridge spoke with Give Me Sport to provide an update regarding Spurs’ target ACF Fiorentina’s Dušan Vlahović.

“The word I’m getting from colleagues of mine at Sky Italy and, one colleague in particular, in Di Marzio, who has really strong links in Florence, is he’s going to stay until the summer,” Bridge said.

Vlahović has one year left on his contract after this season, so he might be cheaper in the summer; however, if there’s a bidding war, that might still inflate the price as there’s plenty of interest in the 21-year-old.

The Serbia international has made 24 appearances for the Serie A club this season, where he’s scored 20 goals and registered four assists, so anyone needing a goal scorer will go after Vlahović.
