Thomas Tuchel had an offer from Tottenham as per the latest report from Sky Sports journalist Uli Kohler.
The German is set to join Bayern Munich after Julian Nagelsmann was surprisingly sacked by the club yesterday.
The German journalist claims that Bayern made a quick move for Thomas Tuchel since there were other offers from Tottenham and Real Madrid for him as well.
He claims that had the Bundesliga club not acted quickly they could have lost him to the aforementioned clubs in the summer.
He said:
“One thing which is very important. Thomas Tuchel will be the new coach of Bayern because he has so many offers at the moment from Tottenham, from Real Madrid.
They thought they have to do it now because if something goes wrong in the summer, Thomas Tuchel will not be available anymore.”

The confirmation from the Sky journalist about an offer from Spurs for Tuchel means the former Chelsea boss was indeed a serious contender for the job.
Spurs are still heavily linked with the likes of Mauricio Pochettino, Luis Enrique, Roberto De Zerbi and Ruben Amorim.
Real Madrid are also interested in Pochettino and in case they plan to replace Ancelloti in the summer, he will be on top of their wish list.
Pochettino is reportedly also keen on the Madrid job and will be tempted if an offer comes which is why he is holding out on making a decision until the summer.
In case Madrid makes a move for the Argentine, he might choose the Spanish giants which would be a big blow for Spurs.
For now, it seems that in the event of Conte being sacked, Ryan Mason will take over as interim manager to see out the season.
Who replaces him in the summer remains to be seen.
