Sissoko Goal Stuns One Person In Particular, did you spot who? [video]

By Joe Fish -

Moussa Sissoko has enjoyed quite the transformation at Tottenham Hotspur.

The France international midfielder was the butt of jokes from both Spurs and rival fans during his first two years in North London, his £30m price tag – fee according to BBC Sport – the punchline of most of them.

However, over the last 18 months, Sissoko has worked his way into the starting lineup, and our hearts, with a run of tireless and consistent performances.

Even during his revitalisation though, the thought of Sissoko scoring a goal was most unexpected. The amount of times we had seen him blaze chances into row Z made us think he may never find the net again.

Until yesterday, when Sissoko channelled his inner Marco van Basten to score a thumping back-post volley in the 3-2 win over Bournemouth – his first goal in 69 Premier League appearances.

The crowd gasped when they identified it was Sissoko who was wheeling away in celebration, and clearly the Spurs stadium staff were shocked too.

This was the image that surrounded the stadium upon the goal…

The thought that a Sissoko goal was so unlikely that we didn’t have a template of his name ready ,and misspelt it in sheer panic is, while probably some way off the truth, funny to entertain.

Let’s hope they get it right for his next goal, if he ever scores another.

Now I know why Poch picked such odd teams towards the end. You can’t have an Amazon series come back season story without a collapse first. I’m off to put a grand on ENIC fc getting top 4.
Pre determined Premier League ahoy!

It’s like Levy picks the results himself, Arsenal 9 matches without a win. Wolves and Sheff Utd draw, Chelsea throwing matches now. I expect Man U will lose or draw too. How this team is 5th is a f#@&@g miracle. Jammyist chair who ever was.

Never one to be trusted on a one on one with the opposing keeper, instead of consistently blasting into row Z as his goal is a collectors item, one of those I was there moments (which I wasn’t) when Sissoko scores!! hopefully it will given him confidence to chip in with more goals.

After their entertaining draw this afternoon one Norwich player we were linked to in the past is Max Aarons.
