The Dele Alli camp appear not be wasting any time. Only a couple of weeks ago, John Cross for The Mirror told us that, “Mirror Sport can also reveal that he has also scaled back all commercial activities as he looks to get back to full fitness.”
True to their word, the product placements and endorsements stopped immediately. Only to recommence …the morning after Dele’s return to action against Red Star Belgrade in the Champions League on Tuesday.

Some manufacturer of plastic digital things was thanked for helping the Spurs star “track his swim”.
The word ‘backfire’ springs to mind, as none of the comments (at time of blogging) consisted of fans begging to know where they could buy such a miraculous device.
Dele did not play well against what was a mediocre Serbian side, and as per this Harry Hotspur blog, no Tottenham player gave the ball away as frequently as Alli did.

I’d change Aurier for Foyth and Dier for Sissoko. Everything else, as your were
If Rose, Toby and Eriksen are bad for team cohesion then they probably need to be left out. However, have any of them played well enough and consistently enough to deserve automatic selection?
Toby has been uncharacteristically unreliable of late, Rose has been erratic and Eriksen had been Middlepharting about.
Toby and Rose were formerly the consistent performers in the back 4, this season both look to be at around 60%. If they aren’t staying beyond the summer we may as well start phasing them out. If that means using Davies, Sessingnon and Foyth then so be it…
Very good point and that’s why we will never mount a real title challenge because we can’t attract the required quality.Unfortunately money brings success and Levy won’t spend it,not properly.
Liverpool’s wage bill is almost double that of Spurs. I rest my case…
