Serie A defender ready to turn down Tottenham and remain with current club

Tottenham Hotspur could be dealing with disappointment as one of their marquee transfer targets looks to give the English club the cold shoulder.

Fabio Paratici, like Tottenham, has long admired Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar.

The club chief wanted to bring the Slovakia international to Juventus FC and is now attempting to do the same at his new job with the Premier League side.

Meanwhile, former Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho also wanted to bring the Skriniar to the London-based club. However, that wish never materialized.

Despite Tottenham having Skriniar on their wishlist once again, it seems that the feelings aren’t mutual. According to Calciomercato, the Inter Milan defender is ready to reject any interest that Paratici and Tottenham have in him.

The Italian media outlet states that the Slovakian has no intention of departing Milan and remains loyal to the Serie A club. Despite riding the bench with former manager Antonio Conte, Skriniar wants to regain his form and starting spot with Inter Milan.

At the moment, Tottenham thinks of Skriniar, but Skriniar thinks only of Inter Milan.
