“Scheduled to advance”: Romano shares latest on €30m transfer target; Ange wants him

By Mehdi Gokal -

The transfer saga surrounding Genoa’s talented centre-back, Radu Dragusin, and Tottenham Hotspur continues to brew.

Recent reports suggest that while negotiations persist between the clubs, Dragusin has already agreed to personal terms with Spurs.

Although both clubs are yet to settle on an agreement for the 21-year-old defender, journalist Romano remains optimistic.

He claims that Tottenham, engaged in daily discussions, remains confident about securing Dragusin.

Romano also shed light on the current status, revealing a new round of talks have been scheduled to advance.

While Spurs have proposed a €23 million offer, Genoa stands firm, demanding €30 million.

He adds that manager Ange Postecoglou is convinced he wants the 21-year-old.

He shared the update on X:

Tottenham and Genoa have new round of talks already scheduled to advance on Radu Dragusin deal.

Initial verbal proposal from Spurs is around €23m while Genoa asking price is €30m. Contacts will continue soon.

Postecoglou still convinced: he wants Dragusin.

The gap in valuation between the clubs for Dragusin’s transfer isn’t substantial.

Given Spurs’ urgent need for a new centre-back, it’s hoped that Levy won’t drag negotiations over this minor difference and will swiftly seal the deal.
