I believe I dubbed this Spurs starting XI dysfunctional looking, and I guess given the impending Liverpool match, that was the way it had to be.
Overall thoughts from me are that Vinicius, on balance, is having a promising game. Harry Winks/Mousa Sissoko is hopeless – as perhaps we all knew.
Bale frustrating at this level tells us things none of us want to know. Lamela is bright and might just pull something out of the hat. Spurs players generally here need to look to themselves – this is nothing to do with Mourinho.
Cup games in these rounds are rarely straightforward affairs and so the positive is that we’ve got a tonne of time to sort this out.
Today I official stop blaming young naive fans making head scratching comments 10 minutes into a game. I now know the source of some bloggers comment 😆 🤣. This is the FA folks.
Woeful
Sanchez and Winks and Davis are truly hopeless
