That was unlucky really. He said in his book that he meant to hurt him, but not injure him like he did.. Remember before Roy tore his cruciate and alfe shouted at him. It wasn’t a revenge for this. It was years later…. Watch it again and Roy has one foot on the ground. He meant to kick him obviously but it wasn’t particularly nasty. Some players leave the ground and jump in with both feet. Far more dangerous.. Alfs outcome was extremely unfortunate.

If Moura has it in him to show the manager why he should have started after coming off the bench then I could understand your point.

He didn’t show a great deal when he came on, there’s been no evidence then or since that he’s a big game player. He seems like a nice bloke and he’s useful but Amsterdam seems very much like a one off to me…

He needs to spend it – they don’t have an imperious striker like they did when Aguero was in his pomp.

Still think not having the best forwards in the league might slow them down a little when they’re not playing as smooth as they are currently.

I see this as a City purple patch, unsure they’ll play quite as well for all the remaining fixtures.

I think Moura would’ve been a different player from the start. Imagine being dropped after what he did in the semi. He must’ve been broken.
For me the biggest selection crime for that final was Eriksen. His bags were packed long before that game, a game he should’ve been nowhere near.

The one blemish on Roy Keane’s otherwise illustrious playing career was his controversial horror tackle on Alf Inge Haaland.
The nasty side to his character!!

Take no prisoners man that was Roy in a nutshell. I said the same. Really need to read other posts first or else look like a copycat 😊

Agreed.. By ‘amongst it’ (Gazzas words), I meant ‘right up there’, ‘in the mix’… I presume he meant the same..

If only he played for us. The destroyer of worlds. Hilarious pundit too.. Roy was the prime example of a world class player with no technical ability.. The mindset ‘thou shalt not lose no matter what’.. Take no prisoners…. If Tintin had Roys mentality then we would have had a player.

I agree with DD about Rodon. He looks like a real prospect snd I would play him alongside Toby where he will benefit enormously from Toby’s experience rather than the potential brain farts within Dier and Davies. Loved the way Dier hit a long ball supposedly for Requilion that almost hit the corner flag and then blamed Requilion for not being there 😂

Back to Rodon quick and composed with an eye for a long ball physically strong he is made of stern stuff!

My mother recently had the Pfeizer jab causing a slight ache in her arm in the eve. Apart from that quick and simple.

There is talk of Guardiola being given a budget of £200m to re-structure the team in the summer. Frightening!!

The whole squad is strong though, they’re having to rebuild a bit with Silva, Kompany gone and Aguero now a bit long in the tooth. Thing is, if you invest that much in a club constantly and you also have a good manager you’re always going to be up there…

When City are blessed possessing one of the best players in the world in KDB anything is possible!!

As I’ve said before, I don’t feel that starting Moura on the bench was the key problem in the final.

He came on as fresh legs with Liverpool only one goal to the good with us applying pressure. He didn’t do very much at all and I’m not convinced him starting would have made the difference. Whereas not conceding a 5th min pen would have…

Big call but thats what managers are paid for where Poch made the wrong call not selecting Moura for the CL Final at the time!

Sadly this underwhelming loan deal has badly misfired.
Looking to the future and assuming he stays fit very positive about Rodon I would select him for the Carabs Cup Final.

Sadly, some of the elderly in these homes are so weak that anything that compromises anything regarding their health can be fatal, even what might be a minor side effect to the rest of the population.

Also explains why the vast majority of Covid deaths (actually from it’s symptoms, not just this within 28 days thing) are people like this. Extremely sad but these people and others besides are also dying with other stuff too. Although for the last 10 month the governments and health providers have been behaving like it’s the only thing that can kill people.

Fairly disgraceful, the truth of these fack ups will come out eventually. Unless they lose the records like the Old Bill have been doing of late!

We need a creative midfielder to ease the burden on Messrs Kane and Son respectively!

They do seem to be hitting bit of form at the right time, Liverpool are clearly unable to play with the same swagger without the defensive solidity that their players out injured provide. It seems the shackles are on a bit, two midfielders in there today.

I feel City have the quality and they are, along with Utd over their earlier slump…

Looking at the formation today and the possession of the ball we had, it seemed to prevent this habit of sitting back once ahead materialising. Jose said he’d changed the system a bit and it was one with only one defensive midfielder, and a with very good one in PEH why does one need two?

Quality of the opposition accepted, but more please…

He says he doesn’t know why he chose to support us but Hoddle was a reason why we picked up loads of support at that time. The embodiment of many things, and I don’t include Eileen Drewery in that!

Title races often start from mid jan. I think Jose’s nouse and the way we’ve played could be of benefit for the second half of the season

“amongst it? We’re up in it mate. Cush. Can you see José is using this season to get our players to master the “lock off and break? All this gonna come in very handy next season when we drop the attack attack attack style with total confidence in locked off back section. Josés a genius

Also, reports that 23 elderly Norwegians have died after receiving Pfeizer jab. But then, that’s the plan…..off the old and vulnerable. Those responsible will pay for their sins.

Looks like the Fulham match isn’t effecting matters really. Liverpool or Man Utd…(probably both) will be dropping points so the gap is still small. Jose being kept very much amongst it.
