Romano states Vlahovic will probably transfer out of Serie A next summer

According to the footballing expert Fabrizio Romano, it is Arsenal that has done most of the leg work in seeking to get the Fiorentina star to England. If this move can be achieved is one matter, but if it will actually is Arsenal that will be doing the signing, is another.

Vlahovic has recently emerged as one of the brightest young strikers in European football, netting 41 goals in his last 62 appearances for Fiorentina. My sense of Fabrizio’z tape is that if Arsenal could push for a move this winter, then an expensive deal could be done with relative ease. However, the player wishes to respect his Serie A side, and not just cut and run mid-season.

Might it be the case that if Tottenham were able to get their act together, then an opportunity to derail the Gunners’ efforts, might exist?

I take a view that Spurs’ interest in this player might only exist in the minds of the football media, and come next summer, we will slowly but surely see the Fiorentina boy being wheeled out in red and white.
