Emerson Royal continues to be linked with a move away from Tottenham this summer and as per the latest report, Spurs are planning to use him in a player-plus-cash offer.
According to the latest from Inter Live, Tottenham have been following Inter Milan’s Davide Frattesi and are interested in making a move for him.
The midfielder had a part role at the Serie A club this past season. He made 32 appearances in the league but most of them came off the bench.
He still managed to score 6 and assist another 4. He also grabbed a goal and assisted 3 in 7 Champions League games for the Italian side. (Transfermarkt)
His performances attracted interested from several clubs including Tottenham, who are now considering making a move for him.
As per the report, in the ‘next few weeks’, Spurs will make a player-plus-cash offer worth €30m for the 24-year-old and include Emerson Royal in the deal.
Inter Milan’s interest in Royal has been well documented recently and as per the report they will be convinced by Tottenham’s offer.
This will be a great bit of business from Daniel Levy, who will not only manage to get rid of a player who is not in Ange Postecoglou’s plans but also beat strong competition from the likes of AS Roma and Atletico Madrid to sign a highly-rated midfielder.
In Frattesi, Spurs will be getting a versatile midfielder who can play central as well as an attacking midfielder.
