Report – Tottenham star offered to three La Liga sides

Tottenham defender, Juan Foyth has been offered to Valencia, Villarreal and Real Sociedad, according to Mundo Deportivo.

The Argentine centre-back doesn’t feature in Jose Mourinho’s immediate plans and he has struggled to earn a starting spot in the team since the Special One replaced Mauricio Pochettino at the club.

Spurs think that he will need at least one more year before he can feature for the team, according to the report.

It claims that Spurs believe that he has a great future, but his agent has been looking for a new team for him.

The report then adds that Leeds United have had a bid of around £25m for him rejected by Tottenham this summer.

Mundo Deportivo tips Valencia to land him on a season-long loan deal because of the influence of former Watford manager, Javi Gracia.

Foyth is one player who doesn’t look tailor-made for Jose Mourinho’s pattern of football as he looks weak.

It remains to be seen if a stint away from Tottenham will help him develop the physical side of his game and help him return to the Spurs’ starting XI.

With only a few days to go, if Spurs lands a new defender, then it will become even more urgent for Foyth to find a new home.
