Report: Tottenham revisiting interest in Brighton & Hove Albion’s £30M rated midfielder

Tottenham Hotspur is keen on improving their midfield this summer, and with a £150-million cash injection, the north London club will have the find to strengthen that area on the pitch.

According to The Times (via TeamTalk), Spurs have renewed their interest in Brighton & Hove Albion FC midfielder Yves Bissouma. In January, Managing Director of Football Fabio Paratici inquired about the 25-year-old.

However, Bissouma only has one year on his deal; The Seagulls might be open to selling and getting a fee rather than having him leave on a free transfer. When it comes to the price, The Times states that Tottenham could have to pay in the neighborhood of £30-million.

The midfielder appeared in 28 fixtures for Brighton & Hove Albion this past season, scoring two goals and two assists. When it comes to the position he will occupy should he move to north London, Bissouma spent most of his time as a defensive midfielder.
