Report: Tottenham keeping tabs on Premier League star; Ange “would love” to sign him

Tottenham remain linked with a move for Conor Gallagher as his saga continues as we approach the final two weeks of the transfer window.

Valued at £36 million, Gallagher has been on Spurs’ radar since last summer.

The England international was recently engaged in discussions with Atletico Madrid over a potential transfer, but negotiations between the two clubs hit a stumbling block, prompting Gallagher’s return to London after spending several days in Madrid.

As per the latest from Football Insider, Tottenham are keeping an eye on Conor Gallagher’s situation after the chaos surrounding his planned move to the La Liga club.

Speaking on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, senior correspondent Pete O’Rourke revealed that the Tottenham manager “would love” to sign the Gallagher.

A top quality cental midfielder is said to be high on Tottenham’s priority.

However, the report adds that the chances of a deal happening between Chelsea and Spurs is quite unlikely.

The Blues are positive that a deal with Atletico will be agreed once they finalise a move for Joao Felix.
