Tottenham Hotspur might be receiving some good news in their pursuit of AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie. The north London club has been linked to the 25-year-old.
According to Sky Sport Italia (via Football Italia), talks between Milan and Kessie’s representatives have collapsed. The Italian media outlet states that the Serie A club hasn’t heard from the midfielder’s camp since making their last proposal.
Milan made a contract offer of €5-million per season plus bonuses to reach €5.8-million in August 2021. However, Kessie wants €8-million per season, so there’s a significant gap.
Furthermore, Sportitalia transfer pundit Rudy Galetti claims Tottenham Hotspur is leading the race to land the midfielder. The midfielder reportedly has a contract offer from the north London club that will see him earn €8-million per season plus another €2-million in various bonuses.
Along with Tottenham, Paris Saint-Germain and another Premier League club, which could be Chelsea or Manchester United, are also keen on Kessie.
