Report: Tottenham has ‘no problem’ meeting the asking price for the star player they desperately want

Fabio Paratici is refusing to give up on the pursuit of AS Roma playmaker Nicolo Zaniolo and according to the latest reports, could even be willing to meet Roma’s demands.

Calciomercato.it had reported a few days ago that Spurs had made a £25million plus Joe Rodon offer to Roma for Zaniolo but saw their bid being quickly rejected.  Now, according to the Italian newspaper La Republicca, Tottenham is refusing to ‘give up’ on the Italian.

The report states that the club has ‘never stopped thinking about Nicolo Zaniolo’ and wants him so much that they will have ‘no problem’ meeting AS Roma’s asking price for him which is said to be around €50m.

However, the report also suggests that Roma has ruled out selling him to a foreign club for now but that is something that can change when their asking price is met as is the nature of the market.

The attacking midfielder is said to be top of Conte’s wish list. He is regarded as one of Italy’s best young talents who enjoyed a remarkable season last season. While he is predominantly an attacking midfielder, he can also play on either flanks as well as upfront. There is no denying that he will strengthen Conte’s side considerably and might be the last piece of the puzzle for his team.
