Report – Tottenham and Amazon close to agreeing “a first of its kind” partnership deal

Sportico is reporting that Amazon and Tottenham are in the final stages of a first-of-its-kind retail partnership deal which will see Spurs have its own store on the Amazon website.

The store will launch at the same time as the All or Nothing series begins on Amazon prime and the American retail giant will use its powerful online tools to encourage viewers to visit the store.

Amazon is absolutely huge and this tie-up could be worth some serious money to Daniel Levy and Tottenham.

Details do appear a little sketchy but it seems like this is a big deal for Amazon who is looking to take on Fanatics, who currently dominate licensed sports merchandise.

It will be the first time a sports entity has had its own branded store on Amazon and marks a further deepening of relations between Spurs and the retail conglomerate.

It has not been a great time for Tottenham financially since the Coronavirus outbreak but if there is anyone that can navigate the club through this difficult period it is Levy and you can expect more deals like this to be unveiled in the coming months.

Amazon is also said to be in the running to secure the naming rights at the Tottenham Stadium and it would hardly be a surprise if that comes to fruition when you consider how the relationship between the two is growing.
