Report: Tottenham among the clubs eyeing Stuttgart striker Sasa Kalajdzic

The future of Harry Kane at Tottenham Hotspur remains up in the air, especially if they miss out on a top-four spot for UEFA Champions League football next season. As a result, Spurs could be in the market for a striker.

According to a report from German outlet Kicker, Tottenham and West Ham United are the two Premier League clubs eyeing Stuttgart striker Sasa Kalajdzic. The 24-year-old has scored one goal this season ins six appearances as a shoulder injury has cost him a good chunk of 2021-22.

Nonetheless, since joining the German club in 2019, he’s scored 19 goals in 48 appearances. Kalajdzic has one more year under contract, so if Stuttgart wants a sum for the player, they’ll have to sell him this coming summer.

Stuttgart could want around £16.8-million if Kalajdzic were to be sold, but the asking price could drop further.

Apart from West Ham, the German media outlet reports that Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, and RB Leipzig are also hoping to keep the player in the Bundesliga by giving him a new challenge in Germany’s top-flight league.
