Report: Tottenham adds Europa League winner to list of wing-back targets

One of the marquee positions that Tottenham Hotspur is keen on improving this summer is their wing-back situation. Manager Antonio Conte likely wants the north London club to pursue targets he feels fit the mold he wants from that position.

The latest target linked to Spurs is Eintracht Frankfurt’s Filip Kostic. The 29-year-old is coming off helping the Bundesliga side win the UEFA Europa League this week.

According to The Independent (via Football.London), Spurs were impressed by the Serbia international following his performance in the German club’s run to the final.

When it comes to a possible transfer fee for Kostic, who’s under contract with Frankfurt until next year, Transfermarkt puts his value at £18-million. However, with one more year on his deal, the Europa League winners could sell him to take advantage of his excellent form this season.

This season, Kostic has made 43 appearances for the Frankfurt, scoring seven goals and recording 15 assists.
