Report: Torino FC club chief traveling to talks with Spurs over a possible deal for star defender

Tottenham Hotspur wants to improve their backline, which already has Cristian Romero and Eric Dier. The depth at the position already has Ben Davies and Davinson Sanchez, but the north London club wants someone ahead of those two to go along with Romero and Dier.

Spurs have been linked to various players to fill that need in the squad, and one of them is Torino FC center-back Gleison Bremer.

According to Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, Tottenham’s director of football Fabio Paratici is ready to receive the Torino chief in London to negotiate a swoop for the Brazilian.

Torino director Davide Vagnati is readying to fly to north London this week to talk about a deal with Spurs for the defender. The 25-year-old appeared for the Italian side, where he made 33 appearances, scoring three goals and recording one assist.

Regarding a possible cost for Bremer, Transfermarkt puts his value at £32-million, providing a range that the Premier League side will have to pay with other clubs expressing interest.
