Tottenham Hotspur wants to improve their forward group this summer, and there have been plenty of candidates surfacing in the rumor mill. The north London club likely wants scoring depth behind Harry Kane and Son Heung-min and the latest name to fill that need is VfB Stuttgart’s Sasa Kalajdzic.

According to Manuel Veth, Spurs, alongside Premier League rivals Manchester United, Leicester City, and Chelsea are reportedly vying for the Austria international.

Kalajdzic made 15 appearances for the Bundesliga side scoring six goals and recording two assists. Since arriving at Stuttgart, the 24-year-old has scored 24 goals in 57 appearances. Also, with one more year on his deal, this would be the ideal time to sell if he won’t sign a contract extension.

When it comes to a possible fee that Spurs might have to pay if they do indeed pursue the striker this summer, it would be around £23-million, per Transfermarkt. However, the price could go up a little with several Premier League clubs reportedly in the mix.
