Report: Southampton, Newcastle have an early interest in Tottenham’s £25 rated midfielder

Tottenham Hotspur is ready to overhaul the squad and allow players who have no future with the north London club and make additions to the team in preparation for UEFA Champions League football next season.

Some players did exit during the January transfer window, but some will still be allowed to leave this summer. According to The Daily Mail, Spurs have placed a £25-million valuation on midfielder Harry Winks, who will be allowed to find a new club this summer.

Spurs chairman Daniel Levy will hear offers for the 26-year-old this summer, and it is believed a fee of between £20-million-£25-million will be enough to land a player.

The English media outlet adds that Southampton and Newcastle are understood to have an early interest in Winks when it comes to possible clubs interested in the midfielder.

Winks made 30 appearances for Tottenham this past season, where he scored one goal and recorded two assists.
