Report reveals what Tottenham ace did during Arsenal celebrations at full time

By Saikat -

Tottenham Hotspur signed Yves Bissouma from Brighton and Hove Albion at the start of the season.

The 26-year-old Malian was one of the best defensive midfielders in the league prior to joining the London club but things have not gone according to plan for him so far.

Bissouma has found it hard to hold down a regular starting berth at Tottenham and he will be hoping to turn things around at his new club in the coming months.

The defensive midfielder started on the bench against Arsenal on Sunday and he was brought on in the final 14 minutes as the home side tried to crawl their way back into the game.

Bissouma made a decent cameo against the Premier League table toppers and his reaction after the end of the game seems to have caught the attention.

According to Guardian, the midfielder’s Tottenham teammates had left for the dressing room after the game as the Arsenal players went over to celebrate with their supporters in the away end.

Bissouma reportedly stood alone in the Tottenham half watching them and Jonathan Liew from the Guardian claims that he was probably watching them with longing and envy.

The 26-year-old was understandably disappointed with the result and he will be hoping for better times ahead for himself and Tottenham.

Spurs will be desperate to secure a top-four finish but the recent results have dampened the spirits around the club. On the other hand, Arsenal are high on confidence and morale. Bissouma will be hoping Tottenham can experience a similar feeling soon.
