Report reveals Tottenham’s 10-day plan for 2024 arrival with limited game time

Tottenham summer arrival Lucas Bergvall is all set to have an extended run in the first team over the next 10 days.

Tottenham struck a deal with Djurgardens at the start of 2024 to acquire the services of Lucas Bergvall. The Swedish sensation made the move to the North London club ahead of the 2024/25 season and he seems to be adapting well to his new surroundings. The teenage attacking midfielder has made an impressive start to life in England.

He has been involved in three out of their first four league outings. While he was on the pitch for just 31 minutes in total, Bergvall did manage to put in impressive shifts. He was handed his first Tottenham start on Wednesday in a third-round Carabao Cup fixture against Coventry City and according to a report from GIVEMESPORT, the Swedish international is set to have more minutes in Ange Postecoglou’s first team over the next 10 days after an impressive full debut.

While Tottenham were not at their best in the cup tie, they ended up coming out on top thanks to two late goals. Bergvall was one of their better performers on the night and Postecoglou did receive some heat after taking him off in the second half. But, it seems the teenager has done enough to get an extended run in the team over the next days.

Spurs have three important fixtures lined up in the next ten days as they will face Qarabag (Europa League), Brentford and Manchester United. The 18-year-old midfield sensation is expected to have more minutes in these fixtures as he has impressed Postecoglou and his coaching staff in the limited opportunities that he has had.
