Tottenham Hotspur manager Antonio Conte’s future has been a constant subject of discussion in recent months.

The Italian is nearing the end of his contract at the Premier League club, and he will be able to walk away as a free agent at the end of the season.

While Tottenham are reportedly looking to tie him down to a contract extension, a report from 90min claims half of the club’s board is not convinced about offering him a huge contract.

A section of the Tottenham board feels that Conte could still walk away from the club, even if he’s offered a massive deal. Furthermore, they are also wary of Spurs missing out on the top four or failing to win a trophy this season.

It will be interesting to see if Spurs decide to part ways with Conte at the end of the season and bring in a new manager.

The report from 90min claims that former manager Mauricio Pochettino has a number of admirers within the club, and he could be an option for the Premier League side.

Meanwhile, the Argentine manager has his heart set on a return to the north London club, and he believes that he has unfinished business at Tottenham.

It will be interesting to see how the situation develops over the next few months now.

Conte has done an excellent job at Tottenham since taking over and his departure will come as a blow for the London club.
