Tottenham Hotspur have emerged as one of the best development clubs in the world.
According to a report published by eToro and football data site Transfermarkt, Tottenham have managed to increase the value of their squad exponentially.
Apparently, the London club paid £342.4 million for their current squad and it is currently valued at £623.9 million.
The players signed by Tottenham have clearly improved a lot since their arrival at the Premier League club and Tottenham could almost double their investment if they were to sell those players.
Meanwhile, German champions Bayern Munich are at the top of the pile when it comes to increasing the worth of their squad.
The German giants spent around £393.4 million to assemble their current squad and it is worth £873.4 million in today’s market.
In the top 10, Tottenham are joined by two other Premier League clubs – Arsenal and Liverpool.
There is no doubt that Tottenham have grown in terms of commercial revenues and squad value under Daniel Levy but they will have to start winning trophies soon.
Despite having a talented squad at their disposal, the Londoners have not been able to end their wait for silverware in recent seasons.
World-class managers like Jose Mourinho, Mauricio Pochettino and Antonio Conte have failed to guide Tottenham across the line when it comes to winning trophies and it remains to be seen whether they can change that in the coming seasons.
