Report reveals how Tottenham feel about underperforming 2024 arrival

Tottenham are confident that their club record signing Dominic Solanke will turn things around after a goalless start at his new club.

Heading into the summer transfer window, Tottenham were keen on reinforcing their attack. Ange Postecoglou wanted to sign a new world-class striker to help them take the next step. Spurs were involved in long-drawn negotiations with Bournemouth for the services of Dominic Solanke. In the end, they broke their transfer record and paid £65 million to sign the former Liverpool ace.

While he found the back of the net on 21 occasions last season, the 27-year-old hasn’t had the best of starts to the new season. He has featured in three outings so far and is yet to find the back of the net. There has been a lot of chatter about his form but according to a report from GIVEMESPORT, Tottenham are not worried about their record signings goalless start to the new season.

The North London club are not fearful about Solanke being a flop. They are confident that he will turn things around and prove that he is worth every penny they have spent to bring him to the club.

The 27-year-old missed a couple of their league fixtures because of injury. He made a comeback against Arsenal in the derby and having started in their last two outings, the £90,000-per-week player will now look to get going in the next round of fixtures as Spurs gear up to face Brentford, Qarabag, Manchester United and Ferencvaros over the next two weeks.

Ange Postecoglou’s team have been working hard in training to ensure they can make the best use of Solanke. They have been working on different patterns of play that will make the former Bournemouth more lethal in front of goal. More importantly, they have no regrets about making him their most expensive signing
