Report: Nottingham Forest faces competition from Fulham, Wolves for Spurs’ £7M defender

Tottenham Hotspur defender Joe Rodon is one of the various players that the north London club wants to move on from this summer. After failing to move on from the 24-year-old during the January window, Spurs hope to have better success this time around.

According to The Daily Record, there’s a market for Wales international as three Premier League clubs are expressing interest. Fulham, Wolverhampton Wanderers, and Nottingham Forest have their eyes on Rodon.

Nottingham Forest needs a central defender as they hope to remain in the Premier League after next season and the Tottenham defender is atop their list of targets.

Rodon is looking for a fresh start since he barely played last season, making only ten appearances for the north London side. Furthermore, with Wales now in the FIFA World Cup, he wants to head into the tournament into good playing form.

When it comes to a possible price, Transfermarkt has Rodon’s value at £7-million.
