Report: Manchester United hopes to reunite Mauricio Pochettino with Harry Kane

If the reports are accurate, Paris Saint-Germain manager Mauricio Pochettino could be returning to the Premier League. The Argentine tactician has been linked to The Red Devils for a couple of months now.

According to the Telegraph, Manchester United wants to recruit a world-class striker, and if Pochettino decides to come aboard, the target will be Tottenham Hotspur’s, Harry Kane. The report adds that Pochettino will do everything to recruit the 28-year-old.

Before the arrival of manager Antonio Conte, it wouldn’t have been crazy to think Kane would look to depart the north London club. Last summer, the England international failed to move to Manchester City.

Nonetheless, with Spurs hiring a proven winner in Conte to be their manager, Kane might want to see this project through. Despite the slow start to their season, the Italian tactician has Tottenham fighting for a top-four spot.

Should Manchester United grab that fourth spot in the table and appoint Pochettino as their manager, considering PSG wants to go after former Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane, the temptation to head to Old Trafford could be there for next season.
