Report – Kane will be signed by Premier League rival to appease their fans

By Bruce Grove -

Harry Kane is set to become the subject of interest from Manchester United this summer as the Red Devils try to appease their protesting fans.

The Glazer family, who own the club, have been facing calls to sell up and leave in recent weeks and this protest forced their match against Liverpool at the weekend to be postponed.

The owners have no interest in selling the club and Sun Sports say they are hoping to make a world-class signing to show that they mean business.

The report says they are prepared to bid £90million for the England captain as he also ponders whether or not to remain at Spurs.

Kane has continued to play his part in helping Spurs to end their trophy drought, but his goals haven’t been enough.

Time is running out for him to have a trophy-laden career in the game and it might force the Englishman to leave Tottenham in the summer.

The Lilywhites have no plans to sell him and would prefer to deal with a team outside England.

However, the report says they might consider selling if he specifically asks to leave.

No one will fault Kane if he leaves, but the fans will pray that he agrees to give them one more season of loyal service before moving on.

I would too,but I don’t think Utd.are at that stage yet where you just know they will win him honours.City have been very quiet regarding Kane, maybe they’re more likely then.He can help them retain the CL trophy.

Only thing with City is that they tend not to spend in the price range being touted, £65m is their record transfer fee.

I’m not sure he would pick to go to united. No guarantee they will be competitive next season. Still talk of Pogba leaving and they are a CB and CM short of being properly in the mix.

City is a different animal altogether, he’d score for fun there.

I just want to see the lad be successful and hold up trophies. He wouldn’t go to arse of course (he wants to hold up big trophies), but anywhere else I’m not bothered tbh.

£90m no chance, more bad press for Levy, otherwise…

“Ohhhh Harry Harry, he went to Man United and he won the lot!”

Levy will not sell to that scum, he stated it after Berbatov. Strange rumours now circulating saying we’ve held talks with representatives of Conte… bullshit Harry?

Apart from the Arse, him going there would really upset me the most. I could handle him going to the blue Mancs, but not them!
