Report: Juventus, Inter Milan eye Tottenham Hotspur transfer target

Over the summer, Tottenham Hotspur was in the market for a striker to either replace or work alongside Harry Kane, who ended up remaining with the north London-based club after a failed transfer to Manchester City.

Tottenham was reportedly interested in Fiorentina striker Dušan Vlahović, but a move for the 21-year-old never materialized.

With the Serbia international under contract until 2023 and talks over an extension breaking down, it will be interesting to see if Managing Director of Football Fabio Paratici circles back on the player.

Nonetheless, if the Premier League side decides to jump back in discussions for Vlahović, they’ll have some competition. According to CalcioMercato, Juventus and Inter Milan are two clubs hoping to land the young forward.

All three teams need a striker. Juventus has Álvaro Morata, but he’s not a long-term solution, Inter Milan would like to replace Romelu Lukaku’s production, and Tottenham needs someone to score consistently besides Kane.

This season Vlahović already has seven goals in ten appearances for Fiorentina.
