Report: Inter Want Eriksen, Possible Lamela Exit & A Loan Deal For Skipp?

The business of Jose Mourinho to date has primarily been that of reconciliation. Working out whose who, what’s what. That sort of thing.

What we have witnessed so far has been a calm and rather open modus operandi from the gaffer. Gone thankfully, are the somewhat testy Pochettino presser moments where the Argentine felt his authority was being undermined, should some journalist have the audacity to question his rationale.

Under Jose, there’s a distinct sense of optimism.

Danny Rose has been notable by his absence since announcing his intention to sit out the remainder of his contract term.

Whatever happens next for Citizen Rose, one does hope he is given better guidance by an agent or similar. All his tactics to improve his situation at Spurs have spectacularly backfired.

Christian Eriksen’s future plans are something we’ve all contemplated at length and Charlie Eccleshare for The Athletic (£) understands that the Dane is wanted in January, by Inter Milan.

Eccleshare also believes that Oliver Skipp could well be loaned out in order to get more game time.

An unexpected third suggestion here is that Erik Lamela could also be on his way out of Haringey. This is of course another saga, to a conclusion of any description would be welcome.

Opinion: Even the slightest movement would be incredibly welcome. January is a notoriously awkward month, but this squad would relish a freshen-up from wherever it might come.

None of these prospective moves would raise much cash, but the wage bill would be loosened nicely.
