Report: Free agent midfielder prefers a move to Brentford, Tottenham while rejecting Man United

Tottenham Hotspur has added Yves Bissouma to its midfield group, but it doesn’t appear as though they might not be done adding to the position. Over the last few weeks, Spurs have been linked to a reunion with free agent Christian Eriksen.

However, the 30-year-old is also connected to remaining at Brentford, where he spent the last six months, displaying that he has the form to play at a high level after suffering a cardiac arrest during UEFA Euro 2020 last summer.

Nonetheless, one team that will have to be crossing the Denmark international is Manchester United. According to The Guardian, Eriksen is favoring either remaining at Brentford or returning to Tottenham.

In the last few months with The Bees, Eriksen appeared in 11 fixtures, where he scored one goal and recorded four assists, showing that he has good form despite the scare he had last year.

The midfielder now seems destined to remain with either Brentford or reunite with his former manager and club this summer to continue his career.
